I check the spare tire pressure in my truck each fall. I lowered the spare to remove some road debris above the wheel, and the cable had more corrosion than I expected. Instead of waiting for a problem to occur, I ordered this hoist. Installed easily. Be sure to keep tension on cable to avoid the line from jamming. Worth the assurance if I need the spare, and to keep traffic behind me safer.
