Used a few Packs of these to Re mount my underneath skid plates on my 2017 maverick x3.. I Love these, but To find a tool that will not break when installing i struggle, I have went threw 3 different lower cost tools, I ended up watching a youtube video where they used a over sized nut and a dewalt 20v impact.. That trick installed the rest of them no problem.

Rivnuts make for excellent connection points when attaching to sheet metal. Handy for other applications as a threaded insert in aluminum or steel plate. For example, I pressed these in from the rear in a set of old mag rims to provide for clean screw locations to attach trim caps. I found this faster than tapping new, oversized threads which also allowed me to use the correct screw size. Great to have in the shop.

I use the 1/4-20 size rivnuts and bolts most often so I make sure I always have some on hand. These are nice stainless rivnuts with matching bolts so it's a complete set. Perfect!
