After 3 pumps and a year and a half we finally have water at our Michigan cabin. All cast iron, nor very loud and could not be happier. Mark that, USA made and a great price, so yes can... double happiness!

Basically a reasonably quite and adequate pump for our 80’ well.My only disappointment is the pressure adjustment control is a little confusing.

This pump only has to pull from a cistern that it is sitting on top of and it doesn't pull the water up. It was primed and I double checked for leaks. Even though it was cheap it has not been worth the headaches.
