This item worked very well for the price. However, it came with a partial dead battery. So, I ended up spending $5 for a new battery.

lo devolvi unicamente porque las instrucciones vienen solamente en ingles , eso yo no lo entiente se supone que este tipo de articulos deverian de venir en varios idiomas ya que tiene varios usos diferentes 8 en 1 asi que para no ronperme la cabeza lo devolvi , si no entiende ingles no lo compres , asegurate de que el que compres tenga varios idiomas . el ingles escrito es mas dificil que el hablado.por eso le di 3 estrellas. por su desconsideracion.

Very easy to use, good quality, works good with a bright led display, what I like the most of it that it shows the exact center of a stud, the bulid in bubble level is a nice bonus.

Seems like all stud finders of this type are made by the same maker and are just rebadged. I thought I'd give this one a try and was disappointed. I used it to try and find a stud to hang a mirror. And while it ultimately did work, it took several tries and even then I wasn't certain if it was accurate. It would detect a stud on one pass, then show nothing on subsequent passes. It definitely does not provide the confidence you want before putting a hole in your wall.
