I haven't used foil for several years now and am relearning it a bit my self so all I can say is I like this foil and the grandkids are using it with out many problems while learning about glass, sun catchers and so on. I like it they like it I run out I'll order more of the same.

Foil can be tricky and frustrating to work with. This product adheres well, eliminating half the battle. The packaging works as a dispenser, preventing the tape from unrolling and tangling.

I've purchased this product a couple times and for the price I think it's very fare. It's not too thin so it doesn't tear when you burnish the foil onto your cut glass. I wouldn't use the built in dispenser that the foil comes in because the plastic might rip it when you try to pull the tape out. I just keep my copper foil in a zip lock bag when I'm not using so it doesn't tarnish. Overall I've never had any issues with this foil.

This tape is not great. I'm aware black backed tape it strongest & what I've used most but....I have and love this brand. I use their copper backed tape and it is great. For some reason this is awful!! It's very thin. It's not sticky. It doesn't do well on curves at all, no matter how much I baby it , it still splits. I was excited too, its my first silver backed experience and I really needed some doing mainly silver solder. I hate leaving bad reviews & I'mNot sure if I just got a bad roll or what. But I won't buy again.

I have heard that black backed foil has better adhesion than silver or copper ; but, I found this brand to be just as adhesive. No tearing or breakage issues, either.

I love this foil. Easy to use, sticks well, burnished well. I use it on clear sections of my stained glass . Looks great. Good for projects where I leave the solder silver.

Foiling my glass was a piece of cake with the new packaging. It came out so easy and didnt get turned around.

Be warned, the quality of this adhesive copper foil is really terrible and I would not recommend purchasing it. First of all I was already very disappointed just open opening it to see that the underside of the foil is not even black but rather grey, but worst of all when I went to use it, it was barely even sticking to the glass, and was quickly unsticking. My glass was clean and not greasy. So the colour and aesthetic being off is one thing, but the tape itself is unusable. I use a lot of copper foil tapes and I've never used one this horrible, I thought I'd try a brand I haven't tried before but that was definitely a mistake I won't be repeating. I'm incredibly frustrated about this and highly advise against purchasing this item. If I could give this zero stars I would.
