After replacing the old Intermatic motor and internals several times over the years, I decided to try this model. It has a very nice painted metal Nema 4 enclosure. Its been working well and very cost effective. I'll see how it works long term.

I have used this type of 220V. timers to turn conveyors on and off to control the feed rate and they have all worked great- for years. This time this timer will be used to turn a low production- water well pump- on for one hour- two times per 24hr day. The power is coming from a 24-volt battery bank with a 6ooo watt inverter supplying the 220 volts needed. The water then fills a 10,000-gallon upright tank- but at 3 gallons per minute- the casing goes dry in a one-hour period- so twice per day 12 hours apart- this timer will turn on the well pump- automatically. Saves a lot of gasoline and the time of starting the generator up for one hour- twice per day. Now it will be hands free until the tank is full- then a float switch turns the system off- until needed. Excellent timer for this type of use! Great find!

You will need glasses to be able to read and set the dial. Make sure your electrician installs the timer for appropriate voltage of the appliance, i.e., pool pumps are 220 V, so must use the dual feature.

Great timer. Easy setup. I just followed the illustration for a hot water tank as it’s the same processing. They even included the live and neutral wire jumpers. Hardest part was to decide exactly where I wanted to mount it.
