Works as advertised. Took a while to get it, but it was during the holidays and expected. Great product, would certainly recommend it to anyone with the right sized telescope.

I decided to clean up the cabling on my mount and the two side by side scopes. Dew heaters are essential where I live and up to now I've used DIY heaters made from old toasters and cheap PWM controllers bought on Amazon. Effective but no class. I vacillated between USB powered heaters and 12VDC heaters and decided on 12V, because the mount has a good 12V power pass through in addition to the four 12V jacks on the DeC plate.This heater fit well (it has some stretch to ensure a snug fit. The heat output is useable, and one of the three controller settings should work against any ordinary level of condensation. Ordinary that is but very heavy here in the California Coast Range, were we get both Valley fog and the marine layer.

The dew heater fit perfectly around my 6" Newtonian scope. Temperature testing of the strip on a desktop not attached to the scope: Low stabilized at 106F, Medium 130F and High 147F. Ambient was 78F. The three settings provide a good temperature range allowing for different ambient conditions.

I use it on my 130mm EDT refractor, which it fits perfectly. I have a smaller version on my guide scope as well. I like having 3 different heat settings with the built-in controller. I have a lot of SVBony astronomy accessories and scopes and all are of high quality.

SVBONY, is lesser known gear brand in the Astronomy industry. They are also less expensive than the major brands, however, SVBONY, markets a good product and the DEW Heater is no exception. Well made, works flawlessly and is priced to provide a great value. Highly recommended.

Cumplen muy bien su función, la calidad de los materiales se siente excelente. Los he usado con fuente de poder de 12 volts y su propio controlador de nivel de temperatura va muy bien… últimamente los conecto directo a la ASIAIR sin su control de nivel de temperatura, el cual ahora controlo directamente en la ASIAIR, los recomiendo ampliamente!!

Banda de excelente calidad. La conexión a 12V permite alimentarlo con un powertank tÃpico (Celestron, Orion o cualquier otro), asà como conectarlo a distribuidores de corriente que se suelen montar en el telescopio para el cable-managment. El control tiene 3 niveles de calentamiento, cada nivel se ilumina con su propio led, asà se puede checar en qué nivel está con solo un vistazo. La fijación con velcro muy práctica también.

This SVBONY dew heater is better than the other brands. Heats fast and has the control to adjust the heat. Reasonably priced. This is the second dew heater from SVBONY I purchased
