This a great guide scope for my 70mm Refractor telescope. 206mm FL. It works great for star guiding in PHD2! Well worth the money spent! I will continue to buy Svbony products. They are well constructed and made. Optics are great. What I like about this the most, it's light weight.

Lots of option on setting this scope up. it has 2 different focusing methods built-in a rotational style and your standard push pole with a setscrew to hold it in place. Works great for Visual or spotting and as a guides scope. Would be perfect if it came with a 90°.

This scope is quality-built. Performs as advertised. I highly recommend it.It has multiple end uses. (Finder, tracker, and image capabilities).

I already have an Off-Axis Guider, but since I was outfitting a complete second photo rig I bought this little guide scope. The day I got it, I took the dew shield off and painted it black covering Svbony's name. I first used it with a hundred-dollar 20 mm EP. I don't know what shocked me more, the EP or the guide scope. The visual was clear and sharp with surprisingly pretty good contrast. I calibrated it, and got it fairly close, to the main scope, pulled the EP, and stuck in a 174 mini-camera and finished the task. It's being used as a guide scope for a 700 mm focal length telescope. Not a difficult task, but it's doing a great job. The focuser is smooth, the build is solid, the price is right, and it didn't need a black dew shield after all.

This was purchased for both visual and guide scope use. Excellent as a visual device with the SVBony right angle eyepiece. But the removable helical focuser was somehow locked up and did not function with a digital guide scope. Can that component be replaced?

I needed a finder scope that could be used with a 90 deg mirror and illuminated eyepiece. This appears to be the only SVBONY finder scope that can be used with a mirror. I tried a 60mm finder/guide scope and couldn't bring to focus. You will have to remove the fine focuser part of the scope, which is easy, to use a 90 deg mirror. The view is excellent for a small aperture scope.

Edit: 1yr with light use, the focuser has broken. It feels like the threads stripped (with near-zero force applied) Ill update again if i can disassemble and it turns out to be a loose sey screw or something, but pretty disappointing at the moment. This came well packaged, and is quite a sharp little scope (based on my limited experience). Unlike some of the other reviews my focusing ring was smooth, and not too tight. Only used a couple times for guiding but so far everything it working nicely
