Bought this for my motorized bicycle and it works amazing. That’s all you do is wrap the tach wire around your spark plug wire a few times and I taped it with electrical tape to hold it. Then you pick the firing order (2 stroke or 4 stroke) It turns itself on as soon as the motor starts. It’s great.

Will not work with 4 cycle motors without using math to get a close rpm, not accurate.

I tried to use this tach on a mini snowmobile. It gave closely accurate readings for the first couple minutes then went nuts. Complete waste of money on this item. Spend more and buy known quality items.
