I gave it as a gift and he likes it and uses it to roll out cookies so they bake evenly

Now i have even cookie dough. (So they all cook the same) I couldn't get consistency doing it by hand eyeing it; I never thought about it. This is great! PLus as i venture somethings need to be rolled out much thinner and this makes it simple.

Didn't even know these things existed 'til I saw them mentioned in a recipe. They kept my sugar cookies at an even thickness and I could see them being helpful to roll out a uniformly thin pie crust. Be sure to know the diameter of your rolling pin, so you order the correct size. Wish I knew about and used them earlier in my baking life.

This is fantastic as it fits perfectly on my 2 inch rolling pin. I did measure before ordering as some complained of the spacer not fitting. My rolling pin is 19" long allowing me to roll a cookie dough ball in a wide rectangle, or pie dough in a large circle. The 19 inch long pin is made by J.K. Adams and I recommend using a longer rolling pin to allow extra work space.

Tried as hard as I could, but these would NOT stretch to fit over 2.5" rolling pin (especially the thicker rings). Would be OK on 2" roller. I measured my roller to be sure it wasn't fatter than 2.5"

It seemed like a great idea until I started rolling the dough and realized that I can only roll a strip of dough that is as long as the distance between the two rings, otherwise it cuts the dough. I ended up not using them
