Works great with Taylor test kit reagents. When I worked as a pool operator that's what we used, now I use it for my personal hot tub - gives me fast accurate reading every time I need it

Coupled with R-0870, this is the only way to test for bromine (or chlorine, with the addition of some math). Simple and accurate, unlike test strips.

FAS-DPD reagent for testing hot tub bromine levels in combination with the R-0870 DPD powder. It's legitimate Taylor reagent and serves as a proper refill for a test kit. It works. Can't really get excited about test reagents but they do the job they're meant to do.

Good price for this product. Was more expensive locally, and the 2 oz. size bottle is more difficult to find.

Works great for testing the bromine level in my hot tub. Very accurate and I use the Taylor Speedstir to make things much easier and to get better mixing. No complaints at all and I will continue to use this test for my bromine.

Worth the money. Let's me know exactly how much bromine to put in.

Doesn't work, at least as far as I can tell. It comes with no instructions, so I assume you're supposed to use it like other titrating agents. That is, put 5 drops in a testing vessel and shake it to see what color comes up. In my case it comes up perfectly clear, as if it was water. Oto titrating agent, on the other hand shows a correct bromine level in my tub (at the same time). If I am not using it properly, instructions should have been included so that I know what the proper procedure is.

I bought this as a refill for the .75 oz small bottle that came in my Taylor K-2106 FAS-DPD Bromine Complete Test Kit in 2011. Our spa gets used daily and the 2 oz size has allowed me to regularly test my spa over the past year to insure proper Bromine balance.

Bought a 2 oz bottle to save some money and last longer, however, the expiration date was on good for 9 months. Very disappointing. Arrived in February and expires in November 2023.
