I thought I was getting a good deal and maybe I did, but less than 2 mos all three are broken. The swatter breaks off from the metal super easy.

Decent sized fly swatters, you can even adjust the length of them by pulling on them. I have two extra in the home just in case. They are not too sturdy, but we still use it. It serves its purpose.

I live in Florida and recently purchased my first house. While I do love it, cooler weather in the area has led to the discovery that my plumbing is allowing for palmetto bugs to rise from the sinks and drains of my home to scuttle about late at night (thanks, outdated cast iron pipes). If you're not familiar with the Jurassic Park-like existence that is this state, these things *do not care* if you are clean or dirty. They're looking for water and heat and will take to the skies like winged nightmares to kamikaze any soul unfortunate enough to attempt to thwart their efforts. The cats do their part but, honestly, I'm a little over waking up in the morning and having to sweep up bits of la cucaracha when I haven't even had my caffeine yet. After a brief period of acclimation, I've resigned myself to this reality until I can fork over the 15k needed for repairs. I bought these as a bit of a stocking stuffer gag gift after recently searching frantically for something with which to bring the smoke to one of these unwanted guests (*a shoe, a shoe... my kingdom for a shoe*). I won't lie, this might low-key be some of the best money spent this holiday season.To start, there's 3 of 'em in a pack, which means I now have one strategically stationed in areas of the home to dispatch of the nonsense before it even becomes an issue. I feel like an efficient merchant of death.Next thing - see how long that handle extends (tissue box for scale because I had no banana or corgi, brainless orange not included)? It's perfect for this gal because, while I can methodically move to assassin-mode, it doesn't mean I'm not still creeped out by these suckers and absolutely terrified over the idea one could end up landing in my hair. I would *not* be okay...Last thing I dig about this buy is the vented swatter. The thing about palmettos is even after you're successful in ending one of them, you still have the added insult to injury because now you have smashed guts spreading out in a radius that can be about the size of a tangerine from the point of impact and you gotta wipe all that up and then crush the carcass in whatever you've got available. I don't care how thick that paper towel is, you're gonna feel the crunch, and that is *so gross*. These babies destroy without the mess! You can see in the second pic how dude is all fetal-ized but not leaking anything. I'm over the moon about that.Long story short, this is not Joe's Apartment, I am not playing around, and this was a solid purchase to send that message. To the palmettos: tell your friends. Do not come.

I ordered these and they came the next day which was great. However, they barely lasted 3 days. On day 1, the one I was using broke mid air as I was swatting at a fly. The design doesn’t give much so don’t expect much flexibility here. I did love the length, but the design, quality and durability left much to be desired. I would not recommend if you actually need it to kill flies. My kids did enjoy playing with them and using them as swords. So, there’s that.

The shaft is of steel and can telescope out to quite a lenght. But guess that needs a good aim 😄.Excellent quality otherwise
