This chair mat is great. I'm using it on a medium-pile carpet with a 5-wheel office chair. I originally ordered a plastic chair mat because it was a little cheaper and I thought it would work better with the carpet. Unfortunately, that was too thin, and the chair did not roll well, and would get stuck in "ruts" where the chair wheels sat while I worked. This glass mat is perfect though. The chair rolls super smooth. And it looks way better too. I highly recommend this over a plastic mat.The other thing to know is that the actual dimensions are 31.5"x48". I took a chance that they would be slightly less than the listed 32"x48". The space between my desk drawers is like 31 7/8", so a full 32" wasn't going to work. Fortunately, it was a bit less, and it fits perfect.

I'm digging this tempered glass. It makes rolling so easy and doesn't break. It's also pretty resistant to scratching, it seems. I don't know if I've seen a single scratch in it yet, although I guess I haven't really looked all that hard for one. But not one that I've noticed. The only thing I'd change about it is its size; I wish it were a good deal bigger. I have several things that I do in my office, things that are all around me. For example, I need to roll back to weigh packages. Then I need to roll to the side to print something. I need to roll to the other side to wrap a package. Then I need to roll forward to use my computer. I need to roll all the way back to store something on a shelf. This requires a lot of room that the mat just doesn't offer. I can't take stars away for this because it was clearly indicated what size this thing was, but it's just something to note.

This glass mat is nice enough. It's a little thin, and the pads are sticky on both sides, so I'm worried they may damage/stain the floor. It's working well, though, and so far I'm pretty happy with it.

Heavier than a plastic mat, this stays in place well and feels solid under my chair. It is somewhat awkward due to its weight when trying to get it where I needed it. I'm impressed that the glass mat works fine on carpet since the plastic one it replaces would bend where the chair wheels would sit forming dimples. There is no flex that is noticeable and, well, sitting in the chair while on it doesn't shatter it. I wish I had known about this sooner.

It is hard to understand why something so small can make you so happy! I had a chair mat that I have battled for several years because it kept sliding, getting bunched up against the wall and getting stuck under my home office chair. NO MORE! This glass chair mat ROCKS!! It was a little freaky rolling the chair and sitting on glass at first, but it is amazing!! Smoothest chair mat I've ever had and doesn't slide at all! It came with six little rubber feet that you stick on the bottom that help it stay in place on the hardwoods. Just so clean and easy!! Looks great and works amazing!! So very happy with it!!

This glass chair mat is exactly what I want from a chair mat. It looks great and feels durable. It does not slide around on the ground with the provided sticky pads. My chair rolls easily on the mat, and will definitely protect my floor and rug from the chair’s movement.

I am lucky enough to work from home but needed a good floor mat in my office to protect my carpet. This is tempered glass so it has some thickness to it that other plastic mats do not. It doesn't have anything to grip the floor to keep it in place so it shifts just ever so slightly but not enough that I can't roll around under my desk without an issue. My chair rolls much easier compared to those cheaper plastic mats. It already feels much better under my chair wheels being able to move around with much improved ease.

Item arrived in this big box and it felt a little on the heavy side. Once opened, it's perfect size as it looks like the size would have been too big. The outside box is what gave me the impression that the mat was going to be oversized, but nope, once opened it's what's expected. Perfect for hardwood or tiled floors. I have tiles all over my house and the mat certainly saved the floors when I get to rolling around the room. Glad I got the larger size so that it covers quite a bit of the floors.
