Worked well and holds CPU firmly in place. Also don't give you the "cringy" feeling when using the standard spring clamp system that most motherboards have. Probably better for the motherboard pins as well since you tighten the four corners down incrementally. Just solid, flat pressure. Also keeps the excess thermal past from getting onto your board cause there's always "too much." Don't act like you get the right each time either!Finally, it looks amazing!

I have always been concerned about the high temperatures of the new CPUs and also concerned about the lack of proper anchoring. Some folks have said that they see no difference in temperatures, but I can tell. The temps are more stable, and the CPU frequencies are higher and more stable. It definitely works. This pressure plate also helps keep the thermal compound from getting all over the computer, no matter how careful you are.TYVVM

First time I have every used a retainer plate like this. I will put one in every PC i build going forward. Clean install and very secure CPU. Went from 3900x to a 9800x3d with this contact frame. Temps on the 3900x was avg 72c and the 9800x3d with this contact frame I get avg 62c with small spikes to 67c. Amazing! It also ensures paste doesn't get between the gaps on the chip which is nice.

TL:DR if you are worried if its a real product or knock off, it is a Genuine product.Wasn't sure if this was a legit Thermalright or a knock off simply because of the seller. But it was sell by seller and shipped by Amazon so I got it anyway. Luckily on the package was a scratch off code you can check to see if its legit or not. And its legit. The code registered as being legit. And I had to scratch it to reveal code so its not like someone faked it. And the package needs to be ripped open as a safety seal ideal so that's a double check for ensuring its legit. And the sticker on the package doesn't seem to have been removed at any point, no sighs of being tampered with. So its a legit product. Can't wait to use it for my next build!UPDATE: Build is over. Installing this was stupid simple. I have it the old mechanic "good-n-tight" muscle/grip when installing so it should be holding nice and firm. And then installed an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240mm on top. The Arctic AIO is a pain in the ass to install, but this isn't a review about that.... I can't see a temp difference before/after since its a new build, but temps are great. So I can't complain. I also prefer this 4 point mount over the stock hardware. Which for me means peace of mind, mechanically speaking.

Item fit perfect! I noticed after install that it did help bring down my cpu operating temp almost 10 degree Celsius! Highly recommend

It was a great and easy fit for the AM5 processor. The CPU temps seem quite good with this product. Was delivered quickly. The product was in the same condition as mentioned.
