These expand from about 4 mm thick to 22 mm with initial soak. I like that the spares remain in compact form for storage. Working well so far for a simple job.

Expands to a nice size when wet. Fit in my solder holder perfectly. After much use, still looks great with no tears. Nice value for the money.

Should have bought these a long time ago. I was holding on to the original sponge for way too long because I wasn't sure what to get. They come skinny and flat, but once you wet them, they look like regular sponges. They fit my Weller WLC100 but are a little short on the top. However, that is inconsequential because the critical dimension is the width to hold it in place. Because of the holder placement, I never reach there anyhow. The hole in the middle is a big improvement allowing you to scrape off solder from your tips easily. The slits help too. Moreover, best of the price!

I like the product but the ones that were commonly available back in the day were an inch longer on both sides. This seems like a kiddy-car version of the real thing.

These are quite thick and absorbent. They have cuts in them that make it easy to adjust to the proper size to fit your solder station. I like the scraping hole in the center. Should last a while!

This sponge fits my Tenma 21-1590 perfect after you wet it and place it the tray. It does not come out when cleaning the soldering iron tip. It is the best sponge I have ever used for my TENMA soldering station. Will for sure buy again if I ever need one. The 5 pack will last me for several years. One other thing I might add, do not cut it to fit the tray before you wet it and let it expand! Don't ask me how I know that. LOL

It works. And what you see in the photo isn't all you get. They come with large rectangular sections of sponge attached that you are supposed to break off before use. But those pieces are quite big and make perfectly usable sponges too!Prior to this I lost my solder sponge and was using wet tissue paper for a while. So I'm happy to have purchased these.

Okay value, but good pack size.Sponges expand when wet to perfectly fit the typical antex soldering iron.I like the circular cut out perfect to wipe the iron on.Also there are slits cut into the sponge so they also catch debris as you wipe the iron across the sponge.Great!

Of course they are thin when you receive them because they are compressed sponges. Once wet they are 1" thick. Good product!
