Replaced a broken hinge that lasted twenty years. Seems much stronger than original. Time will tell if it will be sufficient. At first I wasn't sure if it would work. I suppose I didn't look at the pictures all that much, just the size. But this design seems to be far superior than the old single piece design. At least it feels like it is.

Our current bracket broke and we ordered this replacement. My husband had it installed in a few min. So glad we were able to buy this rather than a complete door spring package.

This was an attractive, strong replacement for a rusted bracket in a Larsen door. Seemed a bit more robust than the original and worked well. Only problem was that one screw head broke off while being driven. Retrieved the remainder of the screw and replaced with a better one. Quality product, with the exception of the screw.

Overall the pieces do seem a little more heavy duty but the piece that gets screwed to the door jam is broken and will not work
