Great quality product. Solid fit and performance. However, take care when strapping your dog into this. The Velcro and snaps are abundant. If not smooth and evenly suited up, it will pinch, bind, rub. And the chin thing does NOTHING. We love and use regularly this floatie for our swimming boy but we take care to correctly put it on him.

My schnauzer was a little weirded out and had a hard time trying to sit up and walk. But after a little coaxing and some treats he was walking in no time and soon walking and running on the beach and it didn't seem to get in his way or limit his mobility. Worked great in the water and kept his head above the water when using the front chest flap. Even without the chest flap on he was able to swim in the waves and keep his head above the water even in wavy conditions. Probably works great in a pool as well. The handle was awesome to have since he has a hard time walking up the stairs from the beach and I was able to just puck him up and carry him with just the handle and he's about 31lbs so he certainly can hold its weight without tearing. The velcro attachments are strong so no worries keeping it on.

Fits my standard poodle fish very well! Very sturdy, and the two handles are critical for lifting him on and off the boat when the tides have the boat far below the dock! I couldn’t lift him with just one handle! He’s 55 lbs, and we use this life jacket 2 or 3 times a week in the ocean, it’s held up excellently!

I just recieved this to day. Seems very well made and easy to put on. I like the velcro around the belly and the buckles. Comes with a chin pad to keeps the dogs nose up. Have not tested it in the water yet but i think it has plenty of floatation. This is the third jacket I have tried to get it to fit my dog well. The others were different brands. This one fit perfectly. Nice adjustments to make bigger or smaller. Handles are thick and wont break. I have a mini aussie about 37 lbs ordered a large. She has a round belly. LOL The neck is a bit big for her but the velcro makes it adjustable. So its not overly big. Velcro is very nice. I have to say i was impressed with the jacket. It is on the pricey side for a life jacket. You get what you pay for. I ordered the red but it is more like a burgandy. I like better. I recommend this jacket. Will revise my review after i use it in the water.

This is my second Think Pet vest. I have one for my dog and I bought one for my friends dog. It fits perfect and is not too heavy. Looks great and works great when we tie up on boating days and the dogs run on the sandbar. If we need to grab them, it’s easy to pick them up and put them on the boat.

Easy to put on my pups, comfortable for them to wear and it does not overheat them. They have had this on for 3+ hours at a time and its as if they aent wearing anything. No issues at all. Its supportive and for sure gives me a peace of mind.

I was unaware that this vest had quite as much velcro as it does - and all of the velcro of course falls in places where my long haired dog has a ruff or fringe on his tummy. Many many dogwear products have this as an issue, I have found, and this is yet another one. How to solve it: Purchase some additional 1 1/2" wide non-adhesive velcro and affix the opposite hook/loop where the velcro is sewn on this vest thus removing the PAINFUL velcro problem that happens with long dog hair. The buckles are more than sufficient to have the vest function quite well without using velcro. It is easier to just stick on some pieces of velcro than to try to remove the stitching holding the velcro on to the vest. If you have a short haired dog, then NONE of this will apply to you...BUT...if you have a long haired dog? You KNOW what I am talking about.

The size chart was very helpful in choosing not only which size but gave the advice of ordering according to chest size before neck size. My dog is a cardgan welsh corgi/blue heeler mix. He weighs 31lbs, chest 24inches, neck 15 inches. The chest part fits him perfectly but the neck part is loose. Picture shows neck is tightened as much as possible yet still loose. He still had full range of movement in it. Have not tested in water yet. Hope this helps.

Got the XL for my lab, after reading the reviews and deciding to size up. I’m glad I did as the L probably would’ve been too small. Works great at keeping her head higher out of the water and lets her swim for longer periods of time. She doesn’t mind wearing it either. My girl is 75-80 lbs and it works great for her. I love the neon yellow/ green as it makes her super easy to find, and would personally suggest the brightest colour you can get. She’s a chocolate and very hard to see in the water, so this gives me great peace of mind. The clip is great for attaching a leash and the double handle is awesome for lifting her into the boat. I suggest this life jacket as it is a very thick/ sturdy floatation device compared to the ones I was considering at places like Petsmart. Will definitely be buying again for future dogs.

Surprisingly good quality and fit considering the price. Bought these for our two Jack Russell’s (size small) both 5-6kg and fit perfectly with a little spare if needed. Easy to fit and very secure too looking forward to getting out on the boat with them knowing they’ve got bit extra protection. Recommend these life jackets ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
