Our pestle was broken in a move. We were looking for a replacement with rounded ends to function well with our existing mortar that also matched as well as possible.This is a nice neutral color so blends well with our mortar. Good quality too. The set looks lovely on our kitchen display shelf.Works really well too. Nice weight & good grip which fits both my petite hand and my husband's very large hand.
