My wife loves making candles, and this wax melter has made the process so much easier for her. It heats up quickly, holds a good amount of wax, and the pour valve works smoothly. Highly recommended. It performs flawlessly. Plug it in, allow time to heat the wax, turn the spigot, and make your candles! Anyone who is saying “oh it doesn’t pour†either is trying to deceive or has not read the instructions. I literally leave the wax in the machine and when I need to make a candle I plug it in. Give it some time to fully melt the wax and I have zero issues. This is an awesome little melter and I hope this review encourages others to give it a try. I really like it!

Love the color, but this is a tricky thing to use. It can get real hot too fast. I turned it down to cool, then it was too cool, had to turn it back up to reheat at right temperature, also there was still some wax left in the container after cleaning I turned it upside down and it came out.. so be careful with that.

I purchased this from Amazon to make candles as a retirement hobby. It was easy to set and use. I leave it quite full so it takes a while to melt the wax however once liquid it retains heat well and quickly melts the wax I add to keep it full. The hole in the lid makes it easy to check the wax temperature and the pour spout gives me good control of the flow when I weigh out the liquid wax. There are a lot of larger, more expensive wax melters available however this one is just right for a hobbyist like me.

While I lived the color of this item and the quickness of the wax being melted, it doesn't do me any good if it leaks at the spigot and the spigot doesn't work. My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I didn't get a chance to try it out until just a few days before the return date. Thank God I didn't put as much wax in as I would have if I had really needed some candles or wax melts made so that I was able to pour the wax into a pitcher and make the wax melts from there. Very disappointed.

Good product, good volume capacity, you can control the temperature, whatever you heat, whether it is water or wax, does not come out through the exhaust valve unless you open it. The product includes cloth gloves, a wrench for adjustment and an extra spare gasket.
