This gauge is well made and reasonable easy to read considering it is pretty 'busy' given it's multi-use application. It is useful to quickly set the depth of cut for table saws (and handheld saws as well) and for routers. It works on a hand held router or on a table mount. It's compact squarish profile should be okay even if you had tight access to the bit. I got this in a combo deal with their router bit foam pad holder for a reasonable price. It was on Prime, came on time and was as described. I'm happy!

I know you know what it’s like to fumble around with a tape measure or ruler to see what your blade height is.... this tool changes that. Just put the guide over the blade opening and raise the blade until it hits the height you want...done. Rotate it and use the side measurements to get perfect router bit height. Can you measure without this, sure but why would you when you can get perfect height every time without the hassle. It just makes whatever job you’re doing just that much easier! It’s sturdy where it won’t warp but low profile enough to measure in tight places and store out of the way pretty much anywhere. Good buy!
