AT602 Features & Installation Modes
Smart Chip
- The “auto-close” function ultimately secures the property after you leave.
- Stops in case of obstruction during gate opening, and reverses in case of obstruction during gate closing. Adjust the stall force to get your desired open / close obstruction sensitivity. Higher stall force level, lower obstruction sensitivity.
- Soft start and soft stop ensure a long-lasting performance.
- The above modules can be adjusted on the smart control panel directly.
Gate Capability
- AT602 gate opener works well for the medium duty dual swing gate up to a maximum of 18ft. in length (correspondingly 100lbs. in weight) per gate leaf.
- Suitable for the swing gate up to 660lbs. in weight (correspondingly 4ft. in length) per gate leaf.
- Kindly note that the max. gate length capability is inversely proportional to the gate weight.
Max. Opening Angle of the Gate in Pull-to-Open Installation Mode
- The gate is allowed to open inwards viewed from inside property with the pull-to-open mode. The related bracket is included.
- In this mode, the maximum opening angle of the gate varies from 68° - 112° depending on the installation of the bracket.
Max. Opening Angle of the Gate in Push-to-Open Installation Mode
- The gate is allowed to open outwards viewed from inside property with the push-to-open mode. The related bracket is included.
- In this mode, the maximum opening angle of the gate varies from 79° - 107° depending on the installation of the bracket.

Manual Release Key & Multiple Power Modes
Manual Release Key
- Equipped with manual release key in case of power outage or when you lose your remote.
Power Mode 1 (Default Mode) – Use AC Electricity Only
- Use the 110-120VAC electricity to power the system only.
- Recommended where AC electricity is accessible and stable.
- The power supply cord is included.
- The specification of the power supply cord is 2C × 18AWG (2 × 0.75 mm2).
- Connect the live wire and neutral wire to the (#1) and (#3) terminal respectively. No matter the polarity.
- Release the clutch and open the gate manually in case of power outage.
NOTE: The tiny CR2025 3V button cell batteries that come with the package are ONLY for the remote control.
Power Mode 2 – By AC Electricity and Back-up Batteries
- Batteries as back-up power source, use the AC electricity to charge the batteries.

Updated a double door gate I have with these so I’m not in the rain trying to manually open my back gate. Each arm makes it easy to adjust the stop point or if I need to add delay to make sure one closes before the other. Remotes work from 100ft+ back so gates well open before we get to it.I have mine running in a remote location on a battery pack I charge weekly. It’s functioned great and kept me out of the weather.Super appreciate Laura at customer support. Humans actually answer which is rare, and she helped me keep my gate running smooth. Really appreciate it.

I like the ease at which the opener operates. After about a year of operation, one of the openers would glitch and not open all the way. I contacted customer service which promptly responded and gave me suggestions on stall force. After a few minutes the problem was primarily resolved. It will sometimes still stall, but I simply close the gate and reopen with the remote and it resolves itself.

Extremely disappointed in this system. Upon initial install, the mechanics worked as intended, opened & closed with remote. Very soon after however (like the 2nd week) the occasional issue began to show itself of not closing in correct order causing the latching mechanism to be on the outside. This required us to have to reopen the gate then manually "assist" it closes in the proper order.Less than 1 year after installing the, "not closing correctly" got worse and worse. We didn't notice the gate did not latch properly one night and my family $2,000 American Bulldog got himsself out and was struck by a car, and died.Now 18 months after purchasing and installing, the unit is completely useless! It does not latch, does not hold itself closed, does not open or close properly. We have to manually open & close the gate every time, then use the ground anchoring latch to secure gate at night because the system has remdered itself completely useless!For coating nearly $700 with the seperate latch, I would have hoped this system would have worked better. We miss our puppy.Extremely dissatisfied,

We have two 16ft gates in the front of our property and they needed a solar powered gate opener. We have not been disappointed! These openers were DIY installed by following the instructions. Everything worked well and installed without problems. We have had them up for a month now without any set backs. There were only two issues: when fully extending the arms, as the instructions state, there is no stopper so the arm dislodged from its track. It was easy to put back together but a stopper would be a nice feature. The other issue was the wiring to combine the two arms for one power source. We needed almost 27 feet but was only given 25ft and it is not easy to find an alternative. The saving grace was the extended wires from each arm. This gave us the required amount to splice and hook up to the batteries we installed for a power bank. It is easy to program and the remotes work well. We keep one in the house so we can open the gate for visitors. So far, we are very pleased with our purchase.

I installed this on a 14ft double swing vinyl gate. It worked perfectly for a few months. At that time, the gate would try to close but then open again. I contacted Topens technical support who identified the problem. They sent me replacement actuators which have been working great to date. For the price this is a good option with responsive technical support when needed.

My mother and installed the gate ourselves and it was pretty straight forward.We experienced a windstorm and the gates were blown open. We struggled to fix them.Heidi was our dedicated representative that helped us every step of the way.It ended up we put the arms back before retracting them. Once we figured out the problem it was an easy fix and now they work again - Hassah!Next windstorm warning we plan on tying the gates to be proactive.That said, I great product and really great customer serviceGreat value for the money
