• NOTE: on wired mode, the cable (size: 4C x 22AWG) for connecting TC188 with the gate operator is required but NOT included.

For TOPENS Gate Openers

• Works with all the TOPENS swing and sliding gate openers, as well as CASAR800 garage door opener.

For Other Brands' Gate Openers

• Compatible with most third party swing / sliding gate opener or garage door opener whose control board accepts “Normally Open Dry Contact” signal.
• TC188 can be powered by the 9VDC carbon battery (incl.), or the control board of the gate opener, or by the external 9-24VAC / DC power source.
• On wireless mode, for the third party gate opener, connect TOPENS ERM12 External Receiver (not incl.) to the control panel, and then program TC188 with ERM12.
• Kindly note that this keypad works with the gate / garage door openers only, and does not support other door access control system.

Wireless Mode

• Comes with a 6F22 carbon battery, the wireless mode is easy to set up, and avoids the trouble of wiring.
• The battery lasts up to 2 years at 5 activations per day.
• In this mode, under ideal condition (no signal interference), one TC188 keypad can operate countless gate openers synchronously.
• If you need to control the gate openers separately, one keypad is allowed to access up to two swing gate openers respectively, or one sliding gate opener.
• One gate opener can be programmed with 8 pcs TC188 keypads directly, and at most 250 keypads with the TOPENS ERM12 External Receiver.
• On wireless mode, it is NOT suggested to position the keypad near any metal structure, in order to avoid the signal frequency interference.

Wired Mode

• The wired mode is recommended for locations where frequency interference is occurred or where the control box is installed far away from the gate operator.
• In this mode, one TC188 keypad only connects to one gate opener.
• One gate opener can connect with at most two keypads in parallel.
