About this item

  • Motion sensor switch with dimming automatically turns lights ON/OFF and allows you full control of light brightness; for use in residential or commercial areas, such as bathrooms, kitchens, home offices, and more
  • Switch uses a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to reduce false triggers from unwanted movements; PIR sensor detects motion with 180° field of view to automatically turn lights ON/OFF based on the occupancy or vacancy in a room (up to 1200 sq. ft.)
  • Dimmer gradually fades and brightens lights by holding the top or bottom buttons; lights will always turn ON to the last-used dim level; adjust the sensor range, ambient light level, and time delay with easy-to-use controls located under the face cover of the device
  • Occupancy sensor mode (Auto ON, Auto OFF) and vacancy sensor mode (Manual ON, Auto OFF) allow you to customize the sensor according to your needs; adjustable time delay range from 15 sec (Test) to 30 min
  • Gold color; 120VAC, 600W incandescent/halogen, 150W LED/CFL dimmable type only; 30 lux - daylight default light level; operating temperature: 32 - 104°F; single-pole use only; no neutral wire required; UL listed; 1-year warranty

Like: works pretty well, both motion detector and dimmer.Dislike: it took an hour to install just one. Too bulky leaving no space for wires. Had to chop existing and switch wires to fit it in. Screws could be longer, had to use a longer screws to grab the box.

Replacing a failed switch in the home we recently bought. I have been going through a lot of indecision on the LUTRON products, which one(s) to buy. More reading of the reviews put me in an uneasy buying mood toward the LUTRON. I decided to go with this TOPGREENER switch not because it was less money but the number of people who reported receiving bad switches right out of the box from LUTRON/AMAZON. Further, AMAZON would not replace a single switch from a purchase box of three pack if only the one was defective. I identified with that because I once bought a 12 pack of LED can light conversions and one was bad. I had to eat the loss. OK, the TOPGREENER looks good. Installs easily. Works as advertised. I just ordered a second one. So, when removing the defective switch from the box to install the TOPGREENER the device that came out was a LUTRON MAESTRO MAW-600.

Easy to install but when I cut the breaker back on, it was just a strobe light. I checked all of the wago connections. I tried new bulbs. I tried finding the “sweet spot” on the dimmer. Then I uninstalled it after wasting a half hour so I wouldn’t spend anymore time on a losing bet.

I liked the design of this dimmer with separate switch and dimmer. Install was straight forward, but I ran into a problem with my LED track light flickering of the brightness level is turned up. I only have 3 9 watt lights so this is disappointing. I tried contacting the seller numerous times via their link and it doesn't work, so no support. I wouldn't recommend buying product from a seller that you can't contact.

It worked just like they said it would, the dial on the left side you use to adjust for the type bulbs you are using instead of paying 4 times as much for separate dinners based by the type of bulbs you have on your light fixture , I have led's so use the dimmer to turn down the brightness then use the dial on the left to see what setting dimms your lights till they don't flicker , I suggest to leave the cover off till you can adjust the dial over time as to what setting will work best for you , waaaay cheaper than other dimmer switches and this one is the only one that works with all type light bulbs , buy it , this really works great !

There's a one second delay and that disappoints me because I thought those days were long gone. That aside I like the rocker and the slider a lot. There's plenty of resistance (but not too much) on the rocker unlike every single other chinese branded dimmer switch I've tried from this site. Also enough space between the slider and rocker so one doesn't interfere with the other.

Worked great for our situation. We installed them horizontally, which makes the switches vertical like a normal switch . And that allows the dimmer to operate vertically as well, which I feel simplifies the operation. (Down- off , up- high). Side note,. I made the mistake of buying these switches to put at both ends of the circuit. Do not do that, for whatever reason the dimmer switch part basically fights to be the master and cancel each other out. So purchase regular switches for the other side. If you want dimmer control at both ends the only option I know of is a wireless 3 way switch.

It does the job but it's not what I thought I was getting. From the photos it looks like a push on/off switch, but it's a left-to-right rocker switch. Not at all intuitive in a house full of up/down rockers, annoys me a bit every time I come in the room. Plus, the lights flicker, though I can work with this by fine tuning the slider; and there's a delay in lighting up, which makes you think you've missed the switch, then they turn on just as you turn around to fix it. Again, it works, just know what you're getting.

I ordered two. Neither came with a wall plate as stated in the lead description. Using one or two 60W LED lamps, with the adjustment wheel, you cannot set this to dim the lamp completely off. Is this by design? It does prevent leaving the dimmer operating unnecessarily as the lamp is always at least dimly lit.
