I picked up a vintage mandolin for $45 at the local music store, it plays well enough and looks great. I didn’t want to spend more on a case than the instrument itself and this was the perfect solution. Well padded, fits great, not too heavy and a fun boho look. I keep a humidifier pack inside the case as well. Nice large pocket on the front.

Ah, who doesn't love the dulcet tones of the mandolincino? This sure looks friendly!While this gig bag is clearly intended to carry and give some small modicum of protection to mandolins, it also will provide great cover-up for other mandolin-sized items. Not especially durable quality for serious (ruck) carry of heavy items, but I find the straps appear to hold up fine with around 15 pounds of weight in the bag - certainly enough to walk carry such items from your car to . . . say a bench of some sort. Or back into a home, without troubling any observer in the slightest.The long, thin pocket will hold a PMAG 30 just fine and the wider bottom pocket happily will hold three. There are two zippers for the main compartment and two for the bottom (wide) pocket, and they can all four be held together at one point for a small lock's shaft to pass through.If you want to take care to not scare the horses, sheep or other stock and to keep the prying eyes of wolvish critters off your mandolin-sized equipment, this might be for you!

Great bag overal, the big pocket has some paper between the fabric so it sounds like a diaper? Wish all the pocket had double zippers the small top pocket is the other one that doesn't have one but overall very nice, the handle is sturdy.

Looks great; quality construction and ample storage. I find it a bit flimsier than most gig bags so if that's an issue for you MAYBE look at one with more padding.
