Bought it because we have a bear (Florida!) and he likes to get into neighbors trash. It works well. Will be interested to see how long it lasts due to heat,sun. So far great!!!! Easy to use and adjust.

Needed something to hold my recycling bin closed for days that are really windy. This is perfect. It has a nice tight grip and the band is adjustable which helps. Definitely a good choice.

The hooks are strong and heavy and fit the large commercial plastic garbage cans perfectly. I have my doubts as to how long the elastic strap will last but I think when it fails I will use a webbing belt.

I didn't think this lock would work to keep out the pesky critters, but YES it does. I am glad I made this purchase.
