Used this to create a base for cabinets in my basement where the floor was completely uneven. Worked like a charm. Having a flat guide at the bottom (as opposed to using a compass that is a single point) allows you to keep it at 90 degrees to the surface, excellent tool.

I had been looking at every scribe tool on the market and somehow missed this one. When I finally saw a carpenter use it on the good old youtube I immediately bought it and I absolutely love it. Even some mates on site are like whoa thats awesome. Worth every penny. Well made and very functional for filler and crown scribes. Haven't used it on anything besides drywall/flat surfaces but I will keep one of these for life.

I have many scribe tools for finish work , but this one I wanted to try , it works great for flat work walls to cabinet / trims and floor scribes . I don’t like it for ornate trim scribes or scribes that require a pin point .This tool has earned its place in the work truck full time

Worked well, adjustable bottom metal guide, good writing lead, the only disappointment is the lead is rectangular shape and is soft so it wears down quick makes a good line but you have to keep adjusting the lead as 5 inch of scribing and the lead was gone. The lead is difficult to adjust as my smallest finger i could not get behind the lead to advance it the front, i had to use knife or small screw driver to fit

Stored inside its case in my pack out drawers. Still every time I use it I have to disassemble the lead holder just to extend it back out. Can’t loosen and pull it out because it’s shoved all the way in. Also have to scribe very softly to avoid pushing the lead back in as well. Should be 18 bucks at most.

Works as it should. Easily scribe. The blade follows work surface nicely. Be aware that if the pencil lead breaks, it may appear impossible to grip it to extend it without opening up the scribe depth adjustment thus making repetitive scribes impossible, however all you have to do is to slide out the knife and this gives you easy access to the lead without adjusting the depth of the tool! Great!

Had to scribe4800 linear feet of base this is perfectly accurate as long as your cutting skills are it's a good product

Outils vraiment très pratique facile d'utilisation livret avec une petite boîte avec 3 min dont une qui se trouve déjà sur l'outil ceux qui nous ont fait 4 l'Outil en plastique ( j'aurais pensé qu'il soit en aluminium ) et la lamelle qui se trouve derrière il doit être en inox seul tout petit bémol mais rien de grave je trouvais qu'il y avait beaucoup de jeux dans le filetage de la pioche en laiton du coup je l'ai démonté et j'ai mis de la bande téflon ( utilisé en plomberie ) autour pour réduire ce jeu mise à part ça c'est le prix des mines ( de 6 à 14 € les 10 mine ) qui sont bien particulière mise à part ça vraiment très pratique
