Great replacement battery for my KLX300. Lighter and smaller than the original with more cold cranking amps. Requires several of the included foam pads to make of the difference in size, but that only added two minutes to install. Love it.

Really impressed with this battery. It's small, doesn't weigh much, and sure does the job! My crf 450x starts right up with plenty of power.

I HATE battery terminals that have those little rectangular nuts under he terminal. It just doesn't make sense to me. Why would they do that? Based on that alone I HIGHLY recommend the Tusk battery! It has threaded bosses that you simply run the supplied screws into - how easy is that? The case appears to be very durable very unlike the outgoing battery it replaced, which was fragile. And this one is smaller than that battery, so the applications are almost limitless. Add featherweight lightness and this is the best motorcycle battery I have ever owned. If it lasts as long as it should, I can see no reason to buy any other brand - ever.

I installed this battery in my KLX 300sm motorcycle and it fit well. The battery came well charged. Included in the box are sticky foam pads that made up the difference in size from my stock battery. With some forethought and scissors I had this Tusk battery installed in under an hour.Now that its a few months later this battery works like a charm. My motorcycle starts every time, even after sitting for a week.I also purchased the battery tender for the upcoming Michigan USA winter to keep it in good condition.

Worked great for about 9 months. On the first tease of cold weather the battery gave out, tried recharging it to no avail. If you’re okay spending $100 a year on a batteries, this is for you. Otherwise go somewhere else with your money.

Had to use the padding to keep it in the area. a little smaller than original. It was nice that the extra foam was included. works well with the yfz450r

Bought this in early May '24 to replace my OE battery, bought a specific Battery Tender LifePo charger for it to maintain it when I wasnt riding, didn't even last 3 months. Won't even take a charge, dead weight now as light as it is. Terrible, waste of money.
