I bought it as a backup for an alternative connection and I wasn't planning to use it but I ended up trying it with an old LCD screen by connecting it to a relatively new GPU (Rx 6700) and it worked great, previous adapters didn't work and I decided to buy this one because it had a connection for extra power and indeed that was the problem with the others. Now I have a very useful extra monitor.There is no distortion in the image, there is no type of interference in the signal, the image quality is what it should be.

The adapter works really well and it is easy to set up plug the VGA into whatever computer do you want to use the VGA for and then plug HDMI cable into it and then plug the HDMI cable into the TV plug 3.5 mm jack into the computer Stereo or front front headphone jack and the quality of the picture is great

Good value item. I bought it to connect my VGA monitor to my HDMI-only output laptop. I know, I know - but it works. It's useful for a handful of other situations, too, when you might want to connect a blu-ray player or similar device to a computer projector. The box even has an output for audio so you can connect external speakers in case the display does not have audio.Occasionally the display will flick on and off if the box is moved. It could be a loose connection on my monitor, but it never happened with my other laptop, so I doubt it. But it doesn't get moved around too often, so this isn't a huge problem. I liked this configuration for the output options, as well as the bit of extension that comes with the cord, rather than an all-in-one "stick."

Had to convert from HDMI -> VGA to work with an older monitor, and with other cables, this would cause a frequent flickering effect on the monitor. Tried this one, with the micro-USB plugged into one of the USB ports on the PC, and it works just fine. Perfect signal, no flickering, it's all good.

Works great. 1080p TV died and needed hdmi output from my game consoles. Had a spare 1366x768p monitor lying around and this did the trick.Before buying, keep in mind:1. If using this on a PS3 like myself, you will need an HDMI splitter. This does not support HDCP as far as I know.2. This DOES allow for output of larger resolutions than the size of the monitor it will be used on. My PS3 outputs in 1080p on my 1366x768 screen which obviously is much smaller than 1080.3. You will need an extra plug, as well as a USB power block in order to power this lil thing. I actually had to break out an extension cable just for this.4. There is no input lag as far as I know and this is going through an HDMI splitter, then through a capture card, then through this thing.5. It does not come with a 3.5mm audio cable so you will need that and some form of speakers if you want audio. Some monitors have 3.5mm input built-in.I can't really complain about anything. It does what it needs to and it's cheap. Go for it, don't go for anything cheaper.

Edit #2: I tried another vga adapter on Amazon made by VicTsing () and it doesn't have any of the issues I described below playing games like this UGreen one has even though they look pretty similar. I'm probably going to be returning this one and keeping the one from VicTsing. I'll keep this UGreen one at 3 stars though because it mostly works.Edit:I'm dropping this adapter down to 3 stars from 5 stars. It is still working great to display my desktop and for web browsing. But when I try to play certain video games (so far Far Cry 3 won't show a picture with this adapter, and I had to start GTA V in safe mode to play it. Far Cry Blood Dragon, BF4, and Borderlands 2 work fine so far but I haven't tried increasing the graphics on these games) it sometimes says "no signal detected" on my monitor. I get sound but no video. But when I press alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del and switch to another window or the desktop the picture comes back and displays fine. Sometimes when I switch back to the game it will display a picture for a split second or display a garbled picture and then the picture cuts out again with the audio still playing. I'm not sure if it's because it can't output enough bandwidth or what the issue is. I can still play games with a lower resolution and lower graphics but if I crank up the display settings the adapter cuts out. It's a weird issue but I only have it when I use this adapter, not with using just a simple hdmi cable to connect my computer to my monitor. Perhaps it's not the adapter, but my VGA cable, but I'm not too sure.It's been working fine for a few days now. It does come with a micro usb to usb cable to power the device. It does not come with a 3.5 mm audio cable, however. I got a VGA cable that also has a 3.5 mm cable attached to it and it all works great!

Ottimo, mantiene la risoluzione di 1920x1080, funziona senza cavo di alimentazione che è presente nella scatola del kit. Adesso funziona con un PC thinkpad Lenovo su un vecchio monitor Philips del 2010..... ovviamente spedito e ricevuto in tre giorni, al miglior prezzo possibile in questo momento e a questa tempistica di spedizione.
