The hard plastic doesn't feel as high quality as the metal uka and ulanzi falcam but it does the job. Seems a little less smooth as those metal f38s as well. Overall solid product i use with my light stand.

This Inverted Ball Head adapter camera mount adapter by ULANZI Model TH02 is very well made! The design and craftsmanship is very impressive. It consists of high grade ABS plastic as well as alloy and is very durable. The thumb knobs are smooth and easy to use. It's relatively lightweight and feels good in the hand. It connected to my light stand securely and I has no issues getting a tight clamp. It has 3 thumb knobs and it's 360° rotatable which is far great than your standard tilt light stand head.I love the the fact that this product allows one to maximize the use of a light stand by turning it into a multifunctional and versatile tool. What I love most about the Inverted Ball Head is the locking mechanism of the quick release plate which requires you to push it down to lock it in and when doing so it's audible which is nice for it let's you immediately know that it's locked in and secure.Overall I'm very pleased with this Inverted Ball Head with quick release. It's innovative design is of high quality, durability, versatility and it's priced very well which makes it of excellent value in more ways than one and I would highly recommend it!

I work at church recoding/live broadcasting church service. I use GoPro cameras to shot video at choir, but there is no room to place additionl tripod. I've been 3d printing adapter that would go on top of mic stand so I can mount GoPro cameras. 3d printed adapter has no option of chaning angles and often breaks after a couple of month of use.Ulanzi TH02 ball head works very well in my situation.I mounted on mic stand and now I can adjust angles, and it just makes my life much easier. The ball head joint/adapter seems to be made out of very strong ABS plastic (not metal), but should handle light camera like GoPro. Horizontal panning is very smooth. The quick release plate is not compatiable with PD Capture, although it looks like it.If you have light stand/any non tripod pone (1/4 20 thread), this adapter will work very well as a ball head.

I frequently use the Ulanzi U-Ka quick-release system in my home studio. Instead of traditional tripods, I often opt for light stands for my indoor videos because they are more compact. The inverted ball head with a quick release is well-constructed and fits perfectly on my light stands. I appreciate the 360-degree pan feature for capturing panoramic shots. With a weight capacity of 5.5 lbs, it is more than sufficient for my needs. This quick-release ball head streamlines my setup and integrates with my other Ulanzi quick-attach accessories. Overall, I find it to be functional and a great value.

Solid build and smooth movement make this a reliable ball head. The quick-release function is handy and secure. However, it only works with the included release plate and isn’t compatible with non-post style ball head tripods. Check the photos in this listing to make sure it fits your setup before purchasing.
