Easy to set up and honestly too loud for a medium-sized living room. Amazing surround sound system for the price. It has completely transformed my movie viewing experience.

i got this to complement my fire tv since its speakers are subpar. gives a very rich sound and makes you feel like you are in the movies with the right setup.

I'll start off by saying I have 3 different sound bars (Polk, Sonos, Vizio branded ones) and 2 home-built surround sounds. So I know enough about audio to be dangerous. The first part of this is knowing what you're getting into. It's a soundbar with rear or front surrounds, depending on how you want to set it up. Again, it's a soundbar. Soundbars aren't going to have the same audio quality or output as discrete components. If you have a large room it's going in, don't go this route. A small living room or bedroom is going to be ideal for something this size. I'll say that for almost any soundbar. If you put this in a large room and give it a poor rating, that's a user issue and not a system issue. Again, know what you're getting into.Appearance: It feels pretty solid. Metal mesh for the speakers, and they feel decently made. The surrounds are connected via RCA to the subwoofer so that you can put those in the back or the front and only need power to the sub. The soundbar itself is driven by a 24v 2.5amp power supply. So theoretically, it can drive up to 60 watts. The sub doesn't have a power rating on it, so it's tougher to judge that. The bar itself has 3x drivers in it, and each surround has 1 driver. They're all ported for a little more range from the speakers. The Subwoofer has a 5.25-inch sub that is ported. I took a photo of my hand on the sub to show its size. Its not large but just enough for that extra depth. You can set it up with ARC HDMI, optical cable, AUX cable, and it does have a USB port on it. It also has Bluetooth for connecting your phone to it. I rarely use Bluetooth as if it's connected to my TV, so why not play a streaming service to it? It also comes with mounts if you want to wall mount this. Pretty easy to install and set up the wall mounts. The thing I didn't like about it was that it was a simple plastic hole in the speaker you put a screw into. These tend to strip out and cause issues. I'm not saying it will, but I'd have rather seen a metal insert here for properly mounting the rear speakers or soundbar without having to worry about it stripping out.Setup: Was super easy. Connect my HDMI cable from the TV to the soundbar. connect the sub and rear speakers. Then start playing videos or music.Performance: Again, it's a soundbar. And the room I set it up in is fairly large, so it's tough to get an immersive experience. But it worked. It had decent audio, a little bump from the sub, and a rear surround. For the price, it checks off what it should do. I appreciated that ability to make changes with the remote to surround settings. Quality wise? That's tough because it's a large room. It sounded decent. I think it'd have helped to have it in a smaller room for initial testing and to compare with a similarly priced soundbar. The ones I have cost significantly more and have better subs/power. Are you going to jam out to a party with this setup? No. That's where you want displacement (size) from your speakers. Can you have some decent music playing or a movie with surround sound? For sure. It'll work great. The Dolby Atmos is a bit of a joke as it is a "virtual" atmos. A bit of research will show how well that works with these types of systems. But the basics of the surround sound worked, and I could tell the rear speakers worked. What I like about this system is that it comes with everything you need other than batteries for the remote. It comes with an optical cable, HDMI cables, and enough cord to set the surrounds where you want them. And if the RCA is a little short, it's a standard cable to which you can add an extension. It's super easy to set up, and I'd trust my older parents to set it up without any issues. They might not be able to figure out the Bluetooth, but they could connect their TV to it. It also has half-decent audio for the price. So overall, would I recommend this soundbar setup? Sure, I would. But I'd ensure whoever bought it didn't have a large room they were installing it in. In a bedroom or apartment, this would be fantastic. Enough sound and rear surround to watch movies at night and not need "BOOMING" noise or waking the neighbors if you're in an apartment. For the price, it's a decent setup and would work perfectly. Do I think there is room for improvement? For sure, but those come with increased costs. If you really want large sound for a room, check out your local marketplace and pick up some cheap towers and a sub and connect a receiver for it 2nd hand. It'll still probably cost more but will give you better audio for large spaces or "booming" sound. If you want something smaller and discrete that will sound better than your TV speakers, this fits that bill.Pro's: Comes with all the parts you need. Easy to setup. Is a full surround sound and not just fronts. Isn't going to wake the neighbors. Has a sub for a little deeper effects. Has ARC so it can be controlled with your tv. Smaller/discrete.Con's: Plastic mounts. Isn't going to wake your neighbors. Some more specs about what power ratings are for the sub, soundbar, and rear speakers would help users.

These are great sounding "virtual 5.1" speakers for the price and super easy to setup. I own several full theater systems for my various rooms for TVs, but for a small guest bedroom I did not want to go the full theater system route. I decided to get this budget soundbar and I was surprised at the quality I got in return. I would've been happy if this unit's audio quality went up only slightly compared to the TV speakers, but I would say its transformative. But I am installing it in a SMALLER size bedroom. This system will not sound as good in a large room. But for a small room or a setup for a computer/game console this is perfect and cost-effective as an upgrade from TV speaker audio. The setup on this unit is fairly simple. You connect the center channel to the TV along with power. The subwoofer (powered separately with its own power cable) and surround speakers are wired together via RCA cables. These 3 pieces are then connected to the center channel/main unit via Bluetooth, which means you can set the satellite speakers as rear surround speakers giving you a more immersive sound. The audio settings that are accessed from the remote are of the "KISS" methodology, and is sufficient for this kind of budget device. There are 3 surround levels, 3 bass levels and 3 equalizer levels. Unless you're a really picky audiophile (which this product is not made for you), these settings are more than enough to enjoy.

My husband has always wanted a surround sound system, so when I came across this set, I couldn't pass it up. Setup was easy, the included instructions are simple to follow and give suggestions for various configurations and different methods of connecting the speakers to your TV. Once connected to our TV (a Samsung smart TV) we noticed that when changing the volume, the TV would no longer display the numbers, but instead it was displayed on the main speaker bar and the TV would just show the name of the surround sound system with a + and a - flashing to indicate that we were raising or lowering the volume. But, that may or may not be specific to our TV, a different manufactor or model of TV could display different things with this speaker system. There is Bluetooth connectiviy built into this system, I'm assuming for watching videos/movies on a different device (projector, smart phone/tablet, ect) but I haven't had the need to test that, so not sure how well or easy it works. There are preset equalizers and bass boosting features that you can cycle through using the remote, but you have to watch the tiny display on the speaker bar to see what setting you are on (instructions for this is in the manual). The sound quality is great, much better than our TV's built in speakers. We have been using this system for a couple of weeks now and haven't had any issues since getting it set up. Overall, this is a great system to have.

This is one of the best surround sound systems I’ve heard! The sound is great and I like that there are different functions for movies, music, gaming, etc. The installation process was very easy. I highly recommend this!

This soundbar was super easy to set up. It comes with everything you need - including HDMI cable and the like. Everything is really straightforward and dead simple even I could do it. The sound quality is way better than my TV speakers, but it IS still a sound bar. It's easy to control and switch between the TV audio and bluetooth audio. The build quality feels nice and they also look nice. It's smaller than I expected which is a good thing as I didn't want something big and bulky. Overall I'm very happy!
