I installed this unit yesterday replacing an existing signature model 449 which required absolutely no modifications to my piping system. I only had to add a 2 inch coupling for the male to male connection. No adhesive's required. This unit performs better then I could ever have imagined. Only relocation of the hanger bracket was required which was quite simple. The shipment was very fast and the packaging was extremely well done. I could not have selected a finer unit among those available. I look forward to many many years of excellent function with this unit. Should problems occur, the excellent supplied manual will help. Although not mandatory! I use hepa bags which you can order extra or find suitable ones at Home Depot.

Well built, much better than the contractor grade vacuum that came with the house. This vacuum has a lot of suction on the 2nd floor ( vacuum is in the basement). Very satisfied

Simple install and works like a charm. Disposable Bag that was included doesn't really fit properly in this unit as it wasn't designed to use one. I jammed it on anyway to see how it would work and to try to keep the unit cleaner than running without it. It works. Suction seems to be good. I have a 3,000 sq ft home with 6 intake ports so there is plenty of pipe that this unit must deal with and does. I'm happy with it.

UPDATE: After having the issue below, customer svc contacted me and we troubleshooted the vacuum. The service rep (Robert) walked with me thru problem isolation and we thought it was the motor. After sending me a new motor, I installed it only to gave the same problem. All possible vacuum issues had been covered. Lo and behold, the problem ended up being loose wiring in my garage GFCI circuit! It would cause the vacuum to operate intermittently but not my power tools. A strange scenario. Bottom line is these Ultraclean vendors 360Design are top notch. Great product and ecceptional service. Changing my rating back to 5 stars.Okay - I purchased this on Oct 13 2016 and it arrive a couple days later and installed. It worked GREAT, in fact, above expectations until...today (7/22/17) when the unit started randomly turning itself off and then back on. It is acting like it is overheated and triggering a cut-off of some sort but hard for me to diagnose since I received no Operating Manual with the unit. I tried calling 360 Vision's Customer Support number but get no answer - not even a voice mailbox. This is discouraging. Again, this unit performed beautifully for 9 months and then problems. I would be willing to delete thus review or change it to a "5" if I could get resolution from 360 Vision but, as stated above, I cannot find any Operating Manual (none on-line to be found either) and I cannot get through to their Customer Service line. Until then, I have no option but to rate this a ZERO or "1" as 9 months of operation for this product is WAY below expectations.

I installed this in an older home, was able to get by with one valve centrally located with a 35' hose. I mounted it outside so it's much quieter, yet under a 4' overhanging eave, so it stays dry. Had to install an outlet box for it. Sellers were out of stock on the recommended paper filters, but were kind enough to include one with the unit.

This thing works great. Like another reviewer said, I was apprehensive about buying a brand with which I was not familiar but this works really well so far. I have had it installed for about 2 months.I purchased just the canister as this was a replacement for my old central unit that died after 16years. My only complaint is that it came with NO instructions for installation or an owners manual or paperwork of any kind. The installation was easy enough since I had done it before but attaching the filter was not as straightforward. We got it on there but I am still not sure it is done correctly but there wasn't another way to get it on so....I liked the price and I think the value is exceptional.

This is a well built vacuum. I have it installed in a 5000 sqft house and there is plenty of suction at the furthest run which is about 115 feet of tubing. Its easily twice the suction as my portable shop vac.

I really enjoy using this product. Has everything you need to use the vacuum. Very powerful very silent and the muffler does work well. I would purchase this item again and we use this every day. Compared to a small portable vacuum, it’s much stronger suction and at least 3 times quieter then a comparable priced portable item. Would purchase again and highly recommend.

Very happy with unit.all steel construction,quiet,and the suction is amazing. It sucked my power head it the carpet , had to raise it a notch. Had it installed in twenty minutes.

This is a good vacuum. easy to install.plugged right in.Just make sure you read the manual. The flow was opposite then the one I took out.When I turned it on it blow all the crap in all the lines out into the house.My wife and also the cat were not happy about that.

Quite happy with this so far! Only disappointing thing was it did not have a hose connection on the unit itself. So I can’t use it in the garage for our vehicles. I missed this while looking at the product so carefully.

I like that it comes with a muffler an filter that attaches to the muffler stopping fine dust exiting unit.
