Conductor detection continuously (path)
There are two ways to detect the connectivity of lines:
a)OnIy use the transmitter to detect. Turn on the power of the transmitter,turn on the power indicator light,and the transmitter starts to work. Then pull the function knob switch to the "CONT" position, and clamp the red and black clamps to both ends of the line to be tested. If the impedance indicator light is on,the line is continuous. The smaller the line impedance is,the more the indicator lights are on. If it is more than 1K, it is considered that the line is not
connected. If it is less than 1K, every 100 CI Iess,one more lamp will be lit.
Adjustable Sensitivity
The sensitivity of the receiver can be adjusted by the knob. In addition, the teceiver is equipped with an LED flashlight for easy operation in dark environments.

Measuring Depths Up to 2 Meters
Measure to a depth of up to two metres, please use digital signal mode when measuring underground cables.
Attention: Ensure one end of the cable under test is connected to the red alligator clip of the transmitter on the cable locator. First, secure the grounding stake firmly into the ground. Attach the black alligator clip of the transmitter to the grounding stake and the red alligator clip to the cable under test. Select the digital signal mode and adjust the transmission strength to the maximum level (5). Use the receiver to start locating the cable signal. Note: The cable locator cannot detect a signal if the cable is entirely untraceable from any end, and multiple cables may cause interference, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact cable location.

This was easy to use. I had fence replaced and they cut the wire to my underground fence. Sadly, they cut the part that was above ground, but I was able to trace the underground wire as well as the above ground until I got to the break. The company that installed the fence was going to charge me over $200 to come out and find the break and repair it. I have an extra piece of wire so I can replace it myself now that I know where the break is. This saved me a lot of money.
