I haven't had a chance to use it yet since I received it before the holiday. I did however test a few of my patch cables and a network card and it worked great up close. I'll be testing a 1K foot run next week with it.

Works great. Has come in handy several times locating faults and tracing fiber. My company didn’t provide one for me and if they would have it would have cost ALOT more than this one. Gets the job done.

Works fine with a bright light at the far end of a 25 meter fiber. The only issue is that the switch has weak detentes, and needs to be wiggled a bit to get it to stay on.

company issued us 1mv ruby lights that was hard to find your light. This one shows every defect in the fiber and has been working great.

I am doing professional work more than 15 years and the last 8 years on fiber optics. I have work with numerous lasers and I have seen good and bad ones. This one definitely is not good. It advertised as 30KM, well with only one splice between it strangle to get 1KM at the best.It can be a faulty one, I don't know but this one I got is terrible. My opinion as professional is , DO NOT BUY.
