The wires are marked well and installation was easy. This transfer switch mounts to the wall, so if your panel is recessed it will take some modifications, but it works great.

I would have liked longer wires, but managed to install OK. Miinimal installation instructions and cheap feeling switches with one arriving defective. No information about where to find parts or manuals. Otherwise it works as advertised. Sellers info is in Chinese.

I installed it in late October of 2024, although my generator was delayed in shipment due to the hurricane Helene disaster. After preparing my generator and performing a couple of test cycles, then switching the transfer switches to normal power, my first need for backup power was 1/29/2025. When operating the row of switches to change from utility to generator power, one of the switches would not work. It was in the utility position, on for normal power. When I removed it this morning 1/30/2025, the problem was that a piece of plastic that is supposed to operate the switch from on to center neutral then to transfer mode had broken. Just based on what I have read in other reviews, looks like this is a common problem with this model. I would like to have some kind of idea how to order a replacement switch, especially since yesterday is only the third time it has been operated… Also, hopefully the same thing will not happen with the remaining switches!

I would have liked if the leads were longer, as I can't mount the box 3 inches from the main panel. But other than that, at the price paid, it's a good solution in one package. I did run 125' of underground 6 awg wire, which cost more than this kit. So saving a few bucks here balanced out the project.

The panel looks nice, it's sturdy, well packaged and the price is tough to beat, but the documentation is marginal. The single sided page for the transfer switch has instructions on how to operate the panel and a drawing of how to wire it and that's it. It's ot a big deal to me, I've installed a few similar panels, but if you need instruction on how to balance the load, choose which circuits to transfer, etc., it's not here. There is another sheet for the meter displays which is in Chinese on one side and English on the other. In the section titled "Attention" , the first item listed says "This product is suitable for indoor use." There is nothing said about outdoor use. The product listing says it is a Nema 3r enclosure and has an IP67 rating for waterproofness, but is that just the enclosure? The meters are uncovered on the front of the enclosure very much exposed to whatever environment the panel is located in. If it can't be used outdoors, it's going to be returned. I will update this when I know more.
