This review is for the Upgraded Aluminum Alloy Magnetic Helping Hands Soldering StationI haven't tested all the gauges, but the ones I did try, fit and held well enough for mr to solder them. Basically, it works as advertised. A bit smaller than depicted in their pictures. Magnetic base holds teh setup well.Am I a satisfied customer? Yes.Would I recommend this item to a friend? Yes.

For $13 this metal wire holder for soldering is expensive. It has 6 slots to hold wires between 28AWG to 12AWG. It comes with a circular rubber base and a metal hanging hook. A better design is to allow adjustable width to hold the wires better.

This little jig does make it a lot easier to solder things. Mostly wires. Because it's made of metal it actually is easier to use than the plastic ones. The only disadvantage is that the ones that are made out of silicone actually grip the cables better so you don't have to force them down in there as much. But it's really not a big gripe.
