this was so easy to use, just take the cover off the back of the adhesive and stick it to the side of the tank! press the button on the front any time to display temperature.

Really like the simplicity of this aquarium thermometer. The temperature display is nice & bright and easy to read. Love the fact that it turns itself off after about 5 seconds. Another nice feature is that the battery can be replaced once it is at end of life - however there is a bit of a flaw. In order to change the battery you have to remove the thermometer from the tank glass. It is stuck to the glass with a nice secure adhesive so you have to use a single edge razor blade to scrap it off. Now how do you reattach?

Package arrived on time. Opened the little box, took off the adhesive and placed it on the tank. About 5 mins later it shows accurate temperature every time I tap it.

Setting up a new tank and wanted something better than the sticky strip glass thermometer. Got this one and I like it! Wanted to double check the temp, so I put a thermometer probe in the tank and it's showed 77 degrees. This thermometer showed 76.5. The probe thermometer doesn't show decimals, so it rounds to whole numbers. I'm going to buy another one for my other tank!

This is a nice way to get a quick read on the glass and works as an excellent back up to an internal thermometer.I have noticed that my internal thermometer reads a different temperature than this external one which is understandable, since it’s pulling the temperature through the glass.I recommend comparing it to an internal thermometer to understand how much of a variance you experiencing for me it’s a few degrees, so I know that the water is always going to be slightly warmer than what this is showing.
