I am very pleased with this 9:1 Block and Tackle and the Rope also. It is of stronger construction than i thought it would be, and I say it's 9:1 because it ends up being 9 lines of pull with the rope end tied back to the moving block end. Pictures included.

Good price and worked well. I am a caregiver. I'm using the pulleys with a sling to help pick the patient up. It's working great. Eight to one ratio is good. Patient weighs 120 it's like picking up 15 which is doable. Definitely need the right sling and understanding though. Picked the patient up wrong you can hurt them.

This pulley works well, but the plates holding the wheels seem thin. The title of the product is deceptive. It’s says the rope is rated at 4000 lbs, and the pulley body is rated at 2200 lbs. With the thin plates I don’t think I’d trust it to lift more than a few hundred pounds. It does pull pretty smoothly and with little effort. The rope stretches a bit when pulled under load. The rope do come off the pulley wheels and can get tangle when not under load. But for the price, it does the job nicely. Just be careful when lifting heavy items.

You have to be careful not to get the ropes tangled. But if they do, it's pretty easy to line them up again in their slots. I used it to lift heavy palms out of their pots to repot them.
