I read the reviews before purchasing and had no expectation on the products but I purchased them due to the lower price. I expected thin, flimsy plastic that will break down easily in short period of time. When I opened the box, the material is surprisingly thick & solid and the basket is sturdy. I don't know how long it will last but when compared to the original Hayward 1070, I don't think the quality is any less.

Good quality at a very good price. They will start to become brittle after a few years but for the price- no sweat.

The basket was correct size bit flimsy Next time I will purchase a weighted one. This one takes a long time settling and waivers.

I’ve used this for my inground pool and it fits perfectly, it’s well made, love the color, and the price for two is wonderful! Will definitely buy again and recommend!

These baskets appear identical to the one I've been using in my skimmer for years, and I'm quite happy with the quality/quantity/price. Yes, the handles on these baskets are the weak point, but I put an extension handle on my baskets anyway so it's not an issue for me. I bet many additional complaints come from A) trying to pull the basket out with the pump running while the basket is full of debris or B) using the skimmer basket as the injection point for chlorine tablets (which quickly weakens the plastic).

they are really 8 inches from outside to outside. they are not B-9 (8.3") baskets. the pictures are not completely clear if it's outside to outside or inside to inside. but they are not flimsy plastic... seem well made, just not the right size for my pool.

It fit in a Waterway skimmer. Don't bother with the handle, I removed the plastic handle which I knew wasn't secured/strong enough and replaced it with twine. Now it's OK.

las cestas se ajustan a la mayoria de los desnatadores, si acaso un pequeño ajuste y listo, a mi me ha servido al 100.
