I am in IT. I support remote workers. MANY of those that need IT assistance are NOT computer savvy. New laptops do not come with VGA ports. I will be buying MANY more of these. The warranty is excellent. The adaptor works and I do not have to deal with whining end users, who cannot understand that their VGA cable CAN be detached from their monitor. THANK YOU from a very happy help desk worker!!!

I have a monitor with a VGA connector that I wanted to use with my new laptop. After reading through many adapter reviews, I decided to give this one a try, and it works great! Just plugged the monitor cable into the adapter and the adapter into my laptop usb c port, and I was good to go!

This worked great. It sent a signal to my monitor at the highest resolution that it supports. No flicker or resolution or disconnection issues.

This does not allow my laptop to extend its desktop when mirroring to an Apple TV. It's the only reason I bought it. It's listed in the description as being capable of doing this. Yet, it doesn't do anything that I can tell. It's just... there. For no reason. Now I have to go outside to bring to to a UPS Store to return it, ugh. Not sure why you want this useless piece of junk shipped back to you, but sure. Have fun with it.

This product works as described for my HP Probook. I bought a different product previously which did not work so i was happy to find one that worked as described. overall seems like good quality time will tell but I got something that says there is a replacement time period of 3 years.
