I needed something to convert my old Dell E2316H (1080P) VGA Monitor over to my ThinkPad. Needed this for a project using some older VGA equipment. This filled the bill. Unit is solidly made and it has the screw holes to hold the VGA cable in place. It is one of those things you may not need often but when you do it's a lifesaver. Well made product and well designed.

This will probably work fine on laptops and notebooks as I am unable to connect my mobile phone to it Since there is only a VGA port on the back of my desktop, I connected it with a VGA cable and plugged the USB-C port into the mobile, but nothing was coming on the desktop.
