Love these as comlare to a regulard heat bulb or the flood light style. They last a long time. Only reason we had to buy more is because we got more snakes and needed another light.

I am a reptile lover and keeper. I use inky Halogen as my heat source and since I keep it on 24/7, the 25 w, Red Night bulb provides what my Blue Tongue Skinks and my tortoises require. I also use a 50 w sometimes. The fixture that holds the bulb takes up very little space, so that is another plus.

I bought a gradient strip light for my Bearded Dragon. I didn't realize that I would also need to purchase a variety of bulbs to use it. These little guys fit the appropriate slots on the fixture and performed as expected.

This wattage is great for keeping the temp around 78-80 degrees in short cages (12-18 inch) or maintaining 75-78 degrees at night in a taller cage (24 inch).

I wanted too provide a night light for my little gecko but I didn’t need the added heat because all of his heat is regulated by a UTH. I decided too try this product out. I have it on a dimmer turned all the way down and it’s been great! He gets some light with very minimal heat! Which is exactly what I was looking for!(:

These heat lights are what fit the fixture that I have but I can no longer find them at the local pet store. They work fine.
