Couldn't find a cheap Honda non VTEC B series compressor so I decided to try this for my B18b1 non VTEC engine and it was perfect. Saw other reviews saying that it might. You do have to get different bolts to mount it to the b series head but I had a few laying around.Will work for any non VTEC B series (B18b1,B18a1, B20b, B20) and dohc D series (ZC)

Wish the slots for the bolts were a bit wider to center to the spring and the hardware was a bit longer but it got the job done on my h22a4

Barely Worked on the first few valves as the angle was off, then the threads completely stripped out. Don’t waste your money.

not perfect but works really well for the price. the included mounting screws are too short and according to other reviews, can cause damage to the head. i used some honda bolts nearly half inch longer and stuck some arp washers on top until they were right. did not torque on the mounting bolts but just barely tightened them. the alignment is a smidge off but it works really well for removing keepers and takes some time getting them back in. only works on vtec heads

Worked in general, bolts that go into the head are a little short so they should be swapped out with longer ones

If you're doing valve spring and valve work on a Honda cylinder head. This is the tool for you! It makes removing the valve spring retainers so easy it's almost ridiculous. Just get an additional light pull magnet for the keepers and you're golden.

Tool works perfect, only downfall you can see the wear after one set of springs... still worth the money in my opinion...

Seems to be good quality and likely works with the right engine, doesnt work with B20s or non-vtec engine heads from my experience
