This device is required to get WiFi and Alexa connectivity with Veise smart locks using the DDLock app. The instructions were easy to follow and set up was a breeze. Now I can say "Alexa, lock the back door" and *boom*, it's locked!

I have three Seifgard locks using the TT Lock app. I use this gateway to control them remotely. Otherwise you have to be within six feet to manipulate the locks with your app. Works well! It says that it doesn't work with 5G, but some services offer a split and will tamp down to 2.4G.

The Veise G2 Gateway is an excellent addition for enhancing your smart door lock’s functionality. It pairs seamlessly, enabling remote control and management through the app, giving you access from anywhere. The setup is straightforward, and the connection is stable, making it easy to monitor and control your door lock. With added features like real-time notifications and compatibility with voice assistants, it’s a great upgrade for home security.Highly recommend for anyone looking to maximize the convenience and security of their smart lock system!

The product initially was easy to setup and ran well for about 8 months when it started randomly disconnecting and reconnecting. The router log said it had a security issue connecting. Ater much fact finding a changed the install to a static IP and it has stayed connected since.

Honestly it works great when you first connect it, but if it loses the wifi signal I have never been able to get it to reconnect. The replacement is doing the same thing..

Easy to install and needed to connect the door lock mechanism to the web app.I unlock the door from my phone if I am carrying shopping bags...beats fumbling for a key or trying to find a finger to press on the pad.

So far everything works as expected. However, I have Xfinity home internet. Their modem has 2.4 and 5GHz signals. Unlike other modems I've had this one combines both under one network name. For any device that can only connect to 2.4, it sends that signal. It's seamless. Not for this gateway. In order to get this to work I had to go to the modem and split the signal and create the 2.4 network separately.I've now spent the last week reconnecting all my devices that only connect to 2.4. Not very smart for a smart device. If able, I would just get the wired version.
