Great auger, I liked that the drill has a U clame to hold the motor. Easy to put together, it is very lite and cuts the ice super fast.

Recommended. Worked astonishingly well. Well designed.I bought this because I wanted to install a dock in a pond while the pond was frozen over. The bottom plates were 10 inch squares so I had to drill 4 holes per leg. All in all, I drilled 16 holes through 12 inch thick ice without much hassle. The cutting bales are very sharp. Make sure you don't apply a lot of pressure and let the blades do their job.

Good quality works well with my ryobi which is underpowered 450ft lbs torque, Great value I would recommend! Planning to upgrade to better drill.

Bolts striped.. holes threaded with helicoil?? Was it striped already from shop? Not how you thread new holes in metal… why is it not taped for the correct size bolts? Overall it looks like it was made by some drunk dudes barn! Looked like it was beat up as well… used it on the lake and it’s not cutting straight either! Spend a couple more dollars and get something better!

This auger works great. It went through 18" of ice like butter. Blades are easy to remove and sharpen as well. Worth every penny!!!
