Almost returned it as readings were not consistent and got worse. Swatched video and then used LC SC blue plastic adapter instead of the metal one for my light source and consistent good reading.

This meter has exceeded my expectations on its readings. This meter reads each light source in real time. The readings will go a little crazy on the screen because it's actually reading the exact light levels that are going into the meter. Unfortunately I had lost mine in the field since this thing is so small that it can fit in your pocket comfortably. But it's a great value for the money and it works very nicely.

Perfect size small enough to fit in any pocket. Great for field work for a quick light check. Good price. Reading slightly off but not by much.

I only used this twice and it no longer charges. It does not detect as being plugged onto a charger. Definitely the worst light reader I've bought.

This is the perfect size for keeping on you at work.It reads both dBM and mW, which works out well since I deal with both and the two are non-linear.I typically measure in the 12 to 3 mW and the +5 to -20 dBm ranges.I compared it against more expensive and larger (bulky) power meters before using it in the field and found it to be within about .75 dBm measuring about 8.8 dBm, which is close enough for me to use it as a quick reference while troubleshooting something in the field.Just an FYI, the battery is internal and not easily replaced (if at all), it is charged via a mini USB cable which one was included. I used the meter a few times over a period of about two weeks and it powered right up, so the battery seems to hold a good enough charge for my needs.

This is a small too pocket size meter. I’ve compared it against 3 other brands that I have and this reads accurate. The charge holds a long time

It is compact and great quality. How ever the readings are off by a factor of 5. Is there a way to calibrate it?

This handy little tool makes it easy to verify light coming out of a port of an MST or OTE. Yes it isn’t the most accurate tool, but for the price point it gets the job done.
