These were so easy to set up . I didn’t have the correct saw to cut the downspout , but my gutter installer was able to cut them for me - fit was great ! They work well , and the flow control is easy to use . I wasn’t impressed with the expandable hose that came with the diverters : we live in an area that gets intense sun, so I figured that the plastic hose would not last due to UV degradation . I purchased a hose from another brand - ‘Oatey’ , which has proved to last season after season of hot, baking sun ; I swapped out the thin hose for these .Otherwise, the diverters are great

I’m very happy with the quality of the diverter. I figured out how it collects water. There is a deep edge below the filter that will collect water and send to diverter hose. This will not gather 100% of water that goes through the down spout. I really do like the product and the fact it has a filter. But it would be amazing if it could catch more of the water.

Bought this to connect a downspout to a rain barrel. It was easy to install by following the instructions. The lead clean out area is a wonderful addition and made the extra few bucks worth it. Set it and forget it!

I like this diverter because it has a turn knob to divert the water to the rain barrels and when it’s full you can change it by turning the knob and it goes down the downspout which is good when the cold weather comes you can take the hose off the diverter and store the barrel in our shed and plug up the end and it’s very convenient

It Does work to fill a rain barrel but the diverter can't handle a heavy downpour causing the rain water to leak through the top and from the front of the diverter. I may run silicone around the diverter to try and seal up all the leaking.I am updating my review to include that this diverter is very over engineered plastic but lacks the engineering to do the job without leaking . My earlier review mentioned the problems with heavy downpours, now I find that even light rains cause leaking because gaps are not tight where plastic meets plastic. Rain water trickles down the open seams because the diverter is not solid plastic.

It does it's job, but I have some kind of Frankenstein square gutter that did not fit on the one side despite "universal". Otherwise, it works fine, came quickly.

We are happy with our purchase! This was easy for us to install. The hardest part really is just cutting the gutter as needed for the installation. Once set up it works well for our needs! The only thing we have noticed is that if you don't get a ton of rain pushing through the gutter (a hard downfall) not a ton of water makes it into your barrel. Something to keep in mind if you live in a dryer area perhaps. We do appreciate the clean out window option on it--helps us keep it from getting clogged!We are happy with it and are glad we grabbed it!
