LIt took a bit of deciphering but I think I determined that the main clipper assembly is manufactured in Germany and the battery/battery charging system is sourced from China. The quality of everything received (except for the instructions) is first rate.The instructions list a clipper and charger holder, which was not provided. I called customer service at Wahl and the representative said that the chippers should have come with a holder, but the item was so new she did not have any shelf stock to send me one. She asked me for my email address and, true to her word, a day later she informed me that one was being shipped to me.More importantly, the instructions state that to remove the blade assembly, you need to press in a grey item and slide the assembly forward. I am generally pretty good at taking things apart, and you need to be able to do this for hair removal and oiling. No grey components. Groping a black painted comb holder did nothing when you attempt to slide the blade assembly. Waiting on hold for customer service, I noticed that the cover of the cardboard box holding the clipper accessories had a graphic which explained how to remove the blade.The instructions state that the blade assembly should be installed with the motor of the clipper in operation. That does not seem to be safe to me, but the customer representative stated that in order for the assembly to mesh properly with the gear mechanism, Wahl recommends installing the blade with the unit in the one position.Surprisingly for an item this expensive, no clipper combs (or hair length spacers) are provided and none are listed as an available accessory. The customer service representative stated that no combs are available for the #30 wide blade that comes with the unit, but combs are available for the #10 blade. I got a #10 blade and combs and they did fit.I had several reservations, but I must say that the Clipper customer service is second to none and I am now very satisfied.On the plus side, two battery assemblies were included.

When I first took these Wahl clippers out of the box, immediately I was impressed with them. These have a very solid feel in my hand and I really like the quality build of these clippers. There are no attachments, but it does come with two batteries and a very heavy duty charger. The power of these clippers cannot be overstated and they are ultra quiet with very little vibration. There are two different speeds on these clippers, along lock guard technology. It comes with a #10 prime series blade, which is made of high carbon steel. The motor is very strong, and it comes with multiple guide combs. The charger has an LED light that lets you know where you are in the charging process and can only charge one battery at a time. It does come with oil and a small whisk brush to clean the clippers with. Because of the size of the clippers you are able to use it on both your hair and beard without any problems. The carbon steel blade is very strong and durable, plus it stays sharper longer. The head on these clippers is wide enough for most animals, and you could easily use these on a sheep. I'm really surprised that they didn't consider putting any guards in this kit, so if you weren't trimming an animal's fur to a very short length you would need to use a comb. I had also originally thought that the kit included a bag for storing it, but it does not come with one. These clippers are definitely on the professional grade level and I really like the nonslip grip on the handle. I highly recommend them!

Great set of clippers whether you are doing a full groom job or just a quick trim. I love that there’s an extra battery so you can always have one on deck. The noise level is pretty standard for Wahl products, and doesn’t spook my critters. A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for in a very versatile grooming gadget with a couple of attachments and a spare battery.

This cordless clipper setup is a must have for thick coats! Even though it's battery powered, it is powerful. I love the fact it has a second battery, meaning you can keep cutting without a prolonged break. The clippers are sharp and do the job very well. My only hang up with this is the fact that there is no comb/adjustable clipper head. I wish there was a hard adjustment on the metal head, or some plastic attachment pieces (like normal clippers) to adjust and select the length of coat. This would make this a huge value for an otherwise expensive item. I'm going to look into getting these, or a whole smaller replacement head with these combs. But it seems this is so new, there aren't accessories listed for it yet. Wahl is a great brand, and these do not disappoint.

I recently ordered the equine wireless clippers. I actually ordered these for me and my husband to use personally. Both of us have the majority of our head shaved and I get tired of dancing around the cord when using our traditional clippers. Plus, our hair is really course and thick. This worked perfect. It easy to drop the battery in the charger and pull it out with one hand. No clicking in place, no direct cord input, it's so easy and you get two! The battery is easy to put into the clippers. It's much like putting a magazine clip in a gun. It's just as easy to use as our human clippers. No cord to dance around. It is plenty sharp without nicking or pulling. It's not silent but pretty quiet. It does have some vibration but nothing to throw your steadiness off. Our only wish is that it came with a couple of guards too.
