The order was fulfilled quickly and arrived in great condition. The case and door are very sturdy. The anti-pry design protects the most vulnerable sides and the keypad with finger vein recognition is subtle which is a real selling point for me. The directions are easy to follow and the installation was a one-person job (if you can lift it up, you can install it). Marking the holes and pre-drilling the studs made it easy to install with the included lag screws. The included wire shelves works great, can be a wire gun rack to hold my handgun securely. This is a very good product and I would certainly consider other products by MAXSafes.

Lots of advantages: it is equipped with a finger vein reader that recognizes and accesses quickly as well as works reliably. All the electronics and locking mechanisms are off to one side, not at the back of the door which would take away from the storage space. The wire shelves are also great because I can use them for a gun rack to hold my handgun properly. Very happy with this purchase and well worth the cost.Thank you.

I am very happy with this. First off the quality seems very high. All across the board. It is decently heavy, as it should be for being this secure. It is durable and looks like it would be very difficult to open. And if you secure it correctly to the studs, it'll be very difficult to remove out of the wall as well.It is just under fourteen and a half inches wide. So fits perfectly between standard studs. It has five bolts to secure it to the studs. They're big thick heavy duty bolts. The hinge is very good quality too. This runs off a nine volt battery, but you can manually open it with a key if you choose to, without the battery. Or you can plug in a usb-c for emergency use.Setting up the vein print and to change the code.Is very simple and very easy. The instructions are clear and not difficult to understand. The vein reader seems more accurate. Then fingerprint readers. I've used it quite a bit, and not had once.Where I did not read on the first try. I tried it on my other finger, they never opened except for the correct finger. So the vein reader seems very good. You can put a code that is 4-6 digits, I would definitely recommend 6 to be more secure. The only thing i've noticed that might be a turned down for some, is the mechanical lock if you use the code or vein reader is a little loud when opening, not like horrible loud, but at least you could notice it pretty well. All in all, I am very pleased with this. It is very high quality, definitely worth the money. Find a place to put it and then hang a picture over on top, people never know it's there.

OK, first off, this is NOT a fire rated safe, so don't expect that you're going to be able to walk through the rubble of a fire damaged home and expect to find your belongings safe and secure. This is merely a secure location to hide and lock up some of your valuables. Now, provided your home has a space that is properly sized to accommodate this unit, installation is a breeze. Find the proper location and use the safe to measure the hole size you need. You should only have to cut through some drywall to install it, just make sure you have the space and that you're not in the same area with wires or pipes. If mounting on an outside wall, expect to have to remove insulation and deal with some nails that are holding your siding in place. Once the hole it cut, insert the safe and the drywall will hold it in place while you secure the 4 bolts into the studs. Pre-Drilling will make this easier. Now, you can add some blocking to the top and bottom of the hole if you want to add a little more protection. You can also apply a good bead of caulking to the back side of the rim to prevent drafts from the edges of the safe. There's ample room in this thing to hold a bunch of stuff, but be mindful of overloading it and having it all dump out on you when you open it.Hide the keys somewhere you'll remember them. The biometric works well, as do the buttons for setting the combination. Remember to charge the unit once every couple months or at least put in fresh batteries every 6....but ALWAYS remember where you put the key!!!!

This Wall Gun Safe with Finger Vein Recognition is an exceptionally well-built, secure, and easy-to-use option for storing firearms, cash, and valuables. The finger vein recognition lock is next-level, scanning below the skin for highly accurate and secure access that isn’t affected by oil, dryness, or humidity—and it works fast and reliably every time. The heavy-duty construction feels incredibly solid, and once installed flush between studs, it stays completely hidden behind a picture or décor for extra security.Installation is straightforward, and the removable shelves and pegboard system make it easy to customize the interior to fit different items. The built-in LED light is a great touch for night access, and the alarm system kicks in after multiple failed attempts for added peace of mind. At this price point, it’s an outstanding value, offering high-tech security, durability, and stealthy installation that makes it one of the best hidden wall safes available.

This is a pretty nice 'safe'. Its not what most people will think of when they think safe, but I like that I can easily mount it between studs (16 inch on center). Its not super clear how to open it initially. First, get the keys. Then there is a button looking kind of thing on the bottom of the keypad. When pushed it will almost feel like a switch. That cover comes off. That is where the keys are used to open it.BIG WORD OF CAUTION: It locks when it is closed. Never ever, even for a second, put the keys in the safe. If the door is closed, 'ya aint getting it open without destroying the safe'.The instructions and a few little rack/shelf kind of things are inside. Not sure how useful that are. I needed a place to store stuff when the stuff is in a fireproof bag. This safe is not fireproof btw, so get one of those fireproof bags for that kind of protection.Nice quality, nice finish, just the 'right' level of heavy.
