This is our first time using this brand on a house - we're going to check back in with the customer in the Spring and see how it worked for them over the winter. If I remember, I'll come back and report here with some 1-winter photos. But so far, so good! And installation was pretty simple. Comes with clips and spacers.

the hooks are cheap. Doesn't keep ice from collecting if wind piles snow. And it only gets loc warm. Not good when you have sub zero temperatures.

Not very good. I’ve plugged it in twice and worked OK first time. Now it barely melts ice. Can’t keep the valley clear of snow / ice. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Easy installation. Clips worked well along gutter works as intended. They should advise two rows in the gutter in The advertisement. They do suggest this in the instructions once you bought it.

Use to keep ice from building up on pitched roof line and downspouts. Works but you must remember to plug in when temperatures reach freezing point, and unplug if too cold as only 5 amps. As per directions included. Attach well and stay on.

Does not melt snow. Oops yes it does melt but so slowly now I have an ice dam at the roof line. Not a happy camper.
