This on and off hot water heater switch was easy to install and worked perfectly. Now I don't have to run my propane gas to get hot water. I'm very happy with the results. So if you need a switch for your hot water for your RV this is the one for you.

This was an exact replacement for the factory switch in my Suburban RV water heater. Disconnect power. Use a small screwdriver to pop out the old switch then unplug the wires to remove the old switch. Connect the wires and push this into place and you are done.

Rv Waterheater electric toggle switch not working. Replacement was a burger to get in. Was watching a YouTube channel ssif that after manufacturing it was an afterthought to put in an electric switch (located behind gas pipes). Finally got it in after a few choice words. Works great. I'm over 65 and female, I am a do it yourselfer.

Product fit and works as described. Needs to be offered in a waterproof version. My water heater unfortunately has the switch located low so when the pressure valve is opened the switch gets wet and shorts out.

It fits perfectly. However, I had to remove the propane valve and let it dangle by a wire to get to the old switch. The switch has tabs on the top and bottom which need to be compressed to pull the switch out. I found that I could use a pair of metal ice tongs to compress the tabs and pull the switch. Look for "True Ice Tongs" om Amazon for a similar image. As others have said, the wires are short, so grab them with needle nose pliers or forceps as soon as they are visible to make sure they don't disappear inside.
